11/23 - 11/25/2007 (Thanksgiving weekend) - AZVN represented the Arizona Vietnamese Community to participate in the 2007 Little Saigon Thanksgiving Cup hosted by the Little Saigon Soccer Foundation in Westminster, CA. This tournament has been known as one of the biggest annual soccer tournaments within the Vietnamese communities in the United States, with other teams are from Los Angeles (Hong Kong Students), Westminster (TN Little Saigon, New Stars), San Jose (Miên Tây - Bac Cali), San Diego (TN San Diego), Portland (TN Oregon) and Utah (Cuu Bac My).

AZVN were drawn in a tough group with Thanh Nien Little Saigon, San Jose, and Oregon. We started the tournament with a 2-0 win over Oregon. Goals were scored by Hung Do and Jimmy Nguyen. We played the second game against the best team Thanh Nien Little Saigon, and held them 0-0 all the way to last 20 minutes... but then ran out of gas and lost 0-3 to them. AZVN then lost 0-1 to San Jose on the final group game.

AZVN finished 3rd in the group ahead of TN Oregon and didn't make the play-off. Thanh Nien Little Saigon went on to win the champion game against their Little Saigon arch rival New Stars with the scored of 3-2. San Jose finished third with a win over San Diego.

AZVN goalie (Truc) played really well at the goal for all three games, and voted as the Team MVP for this tournament.
